May ... Bear at Work and Play

The close of April was somewhat disheartening as we said "Good-bye" to Mimi, and some in the Lopez home questioned why she had to go back across the pond.  Thankfully, May brought many exciting events to turn the heart toward rejoicing again.  Among them ... a Birthday Celebration and "Take Your Child To Work" Day.  For these two events to take place within the space of a week is almost overwhelming for a soon-to-be-six-year-old boy.  

Bear celebrated his sixth birthday at Playmobil FunPark in Zirndorf, Germany.  Quite the adventure!

While pirate ships and castles and rope ladders offer challenges and plenty of fun, spending the day at work with Dad on Warrior Field may have surpassed the day of play.  Helicopters, snipers, weapons, and obstacle courses - oh my!
